Siemens' PC based motion control system SIMOTION P adopts Windows XP Professional operating system. This PC based motion control system allows SIMOTION to be expanded in real time and can operate without complex installation.

For SIMOTION P, other PC applications can run in parallel with SIMOTION machine applications. It includes SIMOTION engineering configuration system, HMI system, operating software, process data evaluation application program, standard PC application program, etc.

This innovative PC based motion controller system can be operated using various forms of PC based motion control panels, and drives and i/o devices can be connected via PROFIBUS or PROFINET as required.
